This side mission will be made available after the cleansing of the Chishima Shrine. To start it, talk to the spirit of the woman you will meet at the gas station.
A spirit tells Akito and KK about how she is being pursued by what she calls a doppelgänger.

Objectives of A Deadly Shadow
1. Answer the phone
Pick up the phone that is ringing at the gas station.
2. Identify the fake
When you turn around you will see that another spirit has appeared at the gas station.
To identify which one is fake use spectral vision. Then one of the spirits will turn into a specter.
3. Protect the woman's spirit
You and the spirit of the woman will be attacked by successive waves of visitors. You must get rid of them all before they suck all the energy out of the woman's spirit.
4. Speak to the specter / Purge the specter
After the fight is over, talk to the specter and then execute a hand seal to get rid of him.
5. Speak to the woman's spirit
To complete this mission and receive a reward for it, once again talk to the spirit of the woman.
Akito and KK succeed in identifying and eliminating the malevolent spirit.
